The Genesis of Lakkshya
Lakkshya was born from a shared passion for music and a desire to expand artistic horizons. Founders KJ Diliip, a virtuoso on the violin, and Ila Diliip, a virtuoso on both the violin and vocals, envisioned a platform to celebrate Carnatic music while exploring new genres. They were soon joined by Sunaad Anoor, a Long-standing friend, whose mastery of the khanjira and hybrid percussion added intricate rhythms and dynamic energy. Later, Diptangshu Bhowmik brought his
piano and keyboard expertise, enriching the ensembel’s harmonic depth and unique sound.
Lakkshya Europe Tour
European Rhapsody
Lakkshya’s musical journey took us across Europe, starting with our maiden tour in 2023, followed by an incredible second tour in 2024. Performing in the Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Luxembourg, we had the privilege of collaborating with exceptional musicians from around the world. Now, we’re thrilled to return for our third tour, celebrating the release of our debut album, Ecstasy. This tour will showcase our latest compositions alongside fresh interpretations that fuse the intricate rhythms and melodies of South Indian classical music with contemporary global sounds.
